May Song was a minor character in the Netflix streaming series The Brothers Sun, as well as the twin sister of June Song and the leader of a White Crane gang in Los Angeles.
History[]
In Pilot, May meets Bruce Sun through TK Lee, and the former sell drugs in her nightclub. However, May, a seasoned drug dealer of the White Crane gang, warns Bruce of the dangers that can befall him if he tries to get smart with her. Later, her men taser Charles Sun, and soon learns that the two young men are the sons of one of Taiwan’s biggest gangsters. As a result, May and his men attack Charles, especially since May believe that Charles is in LA to take over her business. In the end, Charles is able to defeat all of May’s men, including May herself, who had previously fancied herself as a skilled martial artist and uses Bruce a hostage for Charles to surrender. Unfortunately, after a bomb explosion that tears through the room of her night club, May put up a decent fight by stabbing two armed goons in the head with her knives. Unfortunately for May, some armed goons shoot May along with her crew; thus, killing her and the White Crane gang and ending her business.
In Favor for a Favor, the cops and Alexis Kong, Deputy DA, are also hot on the Sun Brothers trail, investigating May’s death and the explosion at the nightclub.
In Whatever You Want, June Song, who is May’s twin sister, was the person who kidnapped TK. Later, due to Bruce's intervention, Charles and June both stop fighting each other. Bruce then tells June the truth about May’s death, so June lets it go. Afterwards, when Eileen Sun and June both discuss the situation, June agrees to kill Tony Tang, as she believes he is responsible for May’s death.
In Country Boy, even though June had killed Tony Tang, to avenge her sister, it turns out he hadn’t kill May after all.
In Gymkata, the truth is revealed, and it turns out that Grace Hwang was behind May's death. Fortunately, June avenges her sister's death by ending Grace's life.
