Taipei (臺北市), also known as Tai-pak, Taipeh, or Taihoku, but officially known as Taipei City, is the capital city and a special municipality of Taiwan. More specifically, it is located in Northern Taiwan, where it shares its maritime borders with China from the east, Japan from the southwest, and the Philippines from the north. It is an enclave of the municipality of New Taipei City, and is seen on Netflix's The Brothers Sun.
History[]
It is first seen in Pilot when Charles Sun is baking a cake in his apartment in the aforementioned city. Some of the establishing shots are from the Tao Zhu Yin Yuan Apartment Building, which was completed in 2018, this skyscraper is one of Taipei's most iconic buildings, because of its double-helix structure, which resembles a strand of DNA.[1]

- None of the restaurants that were in Taipei, took place there. Instead, most were filmed in Los Angeles.[2]
